Tasting notes: Ruby in color and crystal clear; this complex wine has dried cherries, tobacco leaf, chocolate chip cookies, and cedar on the nose. On the palate, there are candied cherries and leather. Medium acid, light to medium tannins. This wine is begging to be enjoyed with friends over a family-style spaghetti dinner—don’t forget the garlic bread!
